At the time of this review, the TITAN X can exclusively be purchased on the NVIDIA website for $1,200 USD, with no plans to offer it through third party vendors. Even at that price tag, I honestly believe it’s worth every penny. However, only you can make that decision for yourself. Z The Pascal TITAN X, without a doubt earns the Pro Clockers “Elite Hardware” award. It’s by far an enthusiast grade produce. But, if you can afford the money, you’ll never go back to lower grade cards again. If you demand the best in your system, you can’t get much better than this!

The new Titan X achieves truly enjoyable and playable frame rates at 4K with all or nearly all of the details at maximum, and is really the first card to do so, although the GTX 1080 does cope well too. It will be interesting to see what a GTX 1080 Ti, assuming Nvidia launches one, brings to the table as well.

If you’re very serious about the best in 4K UHD gaming at the highest settings, you can do no better than the Nvidia Titan X Pascal edition. If however you want great Full HD and 1440p performance, you’re better off saving several hundred dollars and going for the AMD RX 480 or Nvidia’s GTX 1080 or 1070 cards.

The Pascal Nvidia Titan X is a showcase of Nvidia engineering. If you can afford the £1,099.00 asking price it is the ultimate single GPU solution to partner up with a new 4K monitor. There is no competition for this card right now.

Titan X Pascal will also give you the highest framerates no matter which game you play, something that SLI can not guarantee. Apart from pricing, which you either can or can't afford, the bigger issue to me is the engineering behind the card. NVIDIA has once again used a cooling solution that can't handle the heat output of the fantastically engineered GPU, resulting in significant loss of performance, and with no custom-board designs available, there is no cure in sight.

At $1200, it's not for everyone, but neither is Tesla's P85D or the latest model Ferrari. People will bitch and whine about the price, but NVIDIA isn't here to serve the sub-$500 market with its Titan X, this is for the gamers and enthusiasts who want the absolute best, with no compromises, and if you want that, go pick up the Titan X.

At the end of the day (and I am 9 minutes from that as I type this), the new NVIDIA Titan X based on the Pascal GP102 GPU is the fastest graphics card on the market, period. If you want the best, and have the wallet to support your addiction, you can't get anything better than this.

If you can afford one of these beasts, and don't mind paying the premium, the new TITAN X will add some serious graphics muscle to a system and offer up the best single-GPU performance and VR experiences currently available, hands down.

As impressive as the numbers are, especially when overclocked, hammering everything else out of sight, Titan X isn't perfect. The GPU isn't a full implementation of the GP102 die and the cooler, while looking and feeling lovely, really isn't up to the task of getting the most out of the underlying silicon. This is a card begging to be watercooled. Nvidia's Titan X sets a new standard of what's possible in PC gaming. Quite simply, it's the card that everyone wants.
